PA & Lighting System

With 2 of their own PA systems and stage lighting the Velvet Set can provide full production for functions of up to 1,000 guests.

For larger corporate events a bigger PA and lighting system can be supplied at extra cost. Should you wish to arrange your own PA and lighting we can provide a detailed production rider to assist.

The Velvet Set's PA & Lighting Systems

1) Vocal system - for up to 300 guests:

FOH: 2 x Wharfedale EVP-X15 speakers

Foldback: 2 x Wharfedale EVP-X15M monitors

Powered Mixer: Yamaha EMX512S - 8 channel 2 x 500W

2) Full system - for up to 1,000 guests:

FOH: 2 x Accusound PA1520 (2 x 15" horn loaded) speakers

Foldback: 4 x Wharfedale EVP-X15M monitors

Amplifiers: 1 x QSC PLX3602 (FOH) 2 x QSC PLX1104 (Foldback)

Mixing Desk: Yamaha MG32/14FX - 32 channels, 4 groups, 6 aux sends

Both systems include:

Outboard: 1 x DBX 1231 EQ (FOH), 2 x Roxy Audio RFQ3102 EQ's (Foldback), 3 x DBX 166XL Compressors

Microphones: 2 x Shure SH55 vintage vocal mics, 2 x Shure SLX58 wireless vocal mics, 2 x Shure SM58's, 3 x Shure SM57's, Nady 7 piece drum mic kit, 4 x JTS CX-508 instrument bug mics

Lighting: 2 x DMX controlled iColor 3000's, 8 x Par 56 Cans, HP-2S Hazer (fog machine)

Miscellaneous: GemSound CD70 Dual CD Player
